What We’re Seeking in a Volunteer:
505 Joint Task Force is seeking dedicated, community-minded volunteers who believe in service, teamwork, and helping families and communities in times of need. Ideal volunteers are dependable, respectful, and willing to work in diverse environments alongside people from many backgrounds. Whether your skills are in logistics, communications, technical support, community outreach, or hands-on assistance, what matters most is a strong sense of integrity, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to our humanitarian mission.
Requirements & What to Expect:
Volunteers are expected to conduct themselves professionally, follow safety guidelines, and respect leadership structures while working independently when needed.
Some/All roles may require:
Background checks from affiliated (NGO & Government) partners.
Basic training in skills required for tasks. I.E. Chainsaw Crews, Communications, Search and Rescue/Recovery
FEMA Certifications (IS) 100,200,700,800, and more based on qualifications and skills.
Amateur Radio License (HAM) & GMRS License
Coordination with partner agencies and affiliated organizations.
Must be 21+
